Here at CCH Live we are starting a new series called ‘Art and Nature’ to get us all through the cold autumn and winter months. Nature plays an important part of our mental wellbeing and through art we hope to uplift your spirits. We can’t wait to share some of our favourite awe inspiring artworks of our beautiful world for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own homes.

From the famous poolside paintings in California, David Hockney decides to depict a more quiet but no less striking subject of the Yorkshire countryside. What is notable about this collection of paintings is that they are all created digitally from his iPad.

Hockney’s graphic style seems to encapsulate the sensory experience of a country walk in both its stillness and bursting life.
